Take Me Out to the Ball Game

My Hero was recently comp'd tickets to a Yankee's game so we hopped on the train and headed north. I heard the tickets were good, but neither of us realized HOW good! We were literally ONE row from the field. I could smell the sweat on the players. Well, that was only after I shoved a BBQ sandwich down my face that was complimentary with the seats. We were given a full menu of food and drinks to choose from, private bathrooms to use and a wait staff for our section. I am a fan of baseball and don't mind sitting in the nosebleed section, but I could get used to going to games in that fashion!

All White

My dear friend and co-worker recently invited me to attend a White Party with her. She received the invite from one of her print vendors who was throwing the party. Thanks to Duggal Printing, we had a wonderful evening cruising around the city, stuffing our faces with delectable food and soaking in the breath-taking skyline. We couldn't have asked for better weather either.

After we both found the the perfect white outfit, which was mandatory to get on the boat, we headed to Chelsea Piers to jump on the ship. There were roughly 600 people in attendance and we were so fortunate to meet so many amazingly talented and creative people that evening.

Back in the Saddle Again

Radio. Silence. Broken.

Life got in the way of writing lately. Since my last post, I completed my provisional training for the New York Junior League, moved out of my old office space in mid-town Manhattan and into our bright, shiny and new office space in lower Manhattan (still currently in the unpacking mode), and managed to resign the lease on our condo we own and are renting out in Charlotte. It's been a super-busy few weeks, but vacation is just around the corner. Phew!

I'm ready to write again. Put me in, Coach. I'm ready to play.
